This year it is necessary to have two Around the Town events. The first one will be on Thursday, August 22nd from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Great Hall in the Campus Center on Heidelberg University. The second Around the Town for Tiffin Unversity is Saturday, August 24th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in the parking lot next to the RTA Building. The Around the Town event allows incoming students from Heidelberg University and Tiffin University to become familiar with the resources that Tiffin has to offer! Restaurants, retailers and financial institutions are encouraged to participate. Non-profits are encouraged to attend; this is an opportunity to let the students know that you need volunteers. Political groups are not allowed at this event. The registration form and a link are available on The Chamber’s website. The registration deadline is August 9th. The public is invited to attend August 24th Around the Town, we are suggesting they arrive after 12 pm. The Seneca County Farmers Market is this Saturday so be prepared to have some of their patrons visit at any time. If there is big public participation on August 24th participants may want to stay past 12:30 pm.« Back to Blog
