Christmas University/Fall In Love With Seneca County Seminar

Christmas University/Fall In Love With Seneca County Seminar
July 25, 2019

Christmas University was an event to help local business owners understand the differences that Christmas time can bring with merchandise and customers.  Cathy Nagle Ervin, Retail Training Tools shared her knowledge as a retail coach.  Cathy focused on planning ahead for the holiday season.  She expressed that now is the time of year to think about holiday merchandise and staff.  The presentation was centered around maximizing stock, employees and foot traffic.  It is important to have gift ideas for all budgets to appeal to every audience.  Companies should take advantage of the holidays by planning and tailoring in ways that will attract people into their business.  The presentation wasn’t just beneficial for retailers.  There were marketing tips that could be used across all industries.  If you would like to schedule a private coaching session, please reach out to Cathy at cathynagleervin@gmail.com or 567-230-7790.

The Fall In Love With Seneca County event, Small Business Saturday and Christmas events were also discussed.  All Seneca County businesses are being encouraged to participate in the Fall In Love With Seneca County event on Saturday, October 12th.  Businesses are encouraged to host an Open House and to have some demonstrations or hands on activities.  The businesses need to be prepared to let the customers know what they have planned for the rest of the year.  Those present shared ideas with each other on the topics covered. If you were unable to attend and wish to discuss ideas for the events, please call Deb at 419-447-4141.

We wish to thank Cathy Nagle Ervin, Retail Training Tools. com for a super presentation!  We also want to thank Bailiwicks Coffee Company and Kroger for a delicious breakfast!
