TU’s Athletic Department to Host Kids Sport Day

TIFFIN UNIVERSITY, Tiffin, OH— The Tiffin University Athletic Department will host their first Kids Sports Day on January 20 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Heminger Center on Tiffin University’s campus.

Kids (kindergarten through grade five) will be given the opportunity to interact with coaches and student-athletes from all of TU’s 26 teams. They will learn different aspects of various sports, along with teamwork and fair play.

 “This is a great opportunity for the youth in our community to meet and interact with Tiffin University’s student-athletes,” says Lonny Allen Director of Athletics. “Serving the community is a year-round athletic department commitment and I am proud that our coaches and student-athletes are looking forward to enthusiastically serve our local Tiffin kids. We will get as much as we give and we are all looking forward to making this an annual event.”

Registration until January 17 is $30 per child and includes lunch, a t-shirt, and admission to a home basketball game or track and field event. After January 17, registration will be $40 per child. Registration is available online at https://tiffin.prestosports.com/information/Kids_Day.
