Meet Adam Smith, Owner of Carmie’s BBQ & Grill, Carmie’s Catering and Camden Falls Reception & Conference Center! Adam, a graduate of Calvert Catholic Schools and Heidelberg University, moved back to Tiffin more than two decades ago to join his brother Aaron, along with their business partner, Nick Fabrizio, in transforming the south end of Tiffin with the opening of the restaurant and conference center. In 1998, the team opened up Carmella's Ristorante, Camden Falls, and in 2001 developed the hotel, now Hampton Inn.
The restaurant follows the tradition of its namesake Carmella Fabrizio, and over years has transformed from fine dining, to a sports bar and in 2015, added the distinct flavor of smoked BBQ to their menu along with the great burgers, salads, and entrees that they are known for. Carmie’s also offers a terrific patio view and free kids meals on Saturdays (with the purchase of an entrée)!
Following the launch of smoked BBQ, Adam and the team rolled out their off-premise catering business, Carmie’s Catering, for your perfect solution when you need food away from home. They offer package prices for groups of 20 or more and have taken advantage of the current COVID pandemic by offering affordable boxed lunches for many offices and events.
Camden Falls Reception & Conference Center is the host of more than 700 events a year, bringing guests in from all over the country to celebrate their special day, corporate events, birthday parties, or celebration of life events. Adam and his team often work with nonprofits and community partners to provide affordable options for their special events. Reach out to Adam at 419-448-7699 to book your next event!« Back to Blog
