Dr. Sears is a native son of Tiffin, Ohio, having been born at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.  He attended school at Hopewell-Loudon Local Schools, where he was an All-State wrestler, qualifying for the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament 3 years in a row, and placing 5th his senior year.  In addition, Dr. Sears won a gold medal in the AAU Freestyle State Wrestling Tournament in 1991 and qualified for the Junior Olympics.  After high school he attended Wright State University for undergrad and medical school, where he was awarded the Ron R. Belgan scholarship.  He remained in the Dayton area for his Internal Medicine residency, which he completed at the Kettering Medical Center.  In his final year of residency, he was awarded the Albert A. Brust Excellence in Residency award which is awarded to the top Internal Medicine resident each year at Kettering.

 Dr. Sears moved back to Tiffin in 2005, establishing his private practice on Ashwood Drive.  In addition to his private office practice, he has assumed several other positions in the medical community.  In 2007 he became the Medical Director at Tiffin Developmental Center.  He has served in the modified hospitalist program at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin since 2008.  In  2015 he assumed the role of Medical Director at the Seneca County Jail.  In 2019 he became the Medical Director at The Willows of Tiffin and in 2020 became the Medical Director of the Mercy Tiffin Hospital modified hospitalist program.  He also worked in the Stoner Health Clinic at Heidelberg College from 2012 to 2014.  He has served as team physician at athletic functions at both Tiffin University and Heidelberg College.

 In addition to his medical practices, Dr. Sears has volunteered as the team physician for Hopewell-Loudon athletics since moving back to Tiffin in 2005, and has served as a assistant varsity wrestling coach since 2008.

Dr. Sears resides in Tiffin and has 2 children, Aidan and Evan, who are students at Hopewell-Loudon High School and Sentinel Vocational Center.  He will be moving his practice to Progress Parkway in order to expand his practice to include Nurse Practitioners and Behavioral Health specialists.

Charlie Palmer was born and raised in Findlay, Ohio. His wife and he met in college and decided to settle in Tiffin in 2015. Charlie completed his first degree from the University of Findlay, then going on to Western Governors University, and eventually obtaining his masters through Indiana Wesleyan University. He has been working in the healthcare field for 10 years now, with most of his experience in the ICU and ER setting. This year, he was blessed to be able to go to New York City for 6 weeks to help patients hit hard by the COVID-19 Pandemic. During his time off work, he spends his time volunteering as part of Seneca County Emergency Response Team, and also as the President of the local Tiffin Area Real Estate Investors Association. Charlie enjoys hunting with friends, craft beer, and spending time with his wife and their son. Charlie also has a passion for flipping homes and managing rental properties across the county. Looking towards 2021 and on, Charlie is most excited about being able to meet and serve the people of Tiffin and the surrounding area.

 Dr. Christopher Sears and his dedicated staff are compassionate and committed to their patients needs.

 The Ground Breaking Ceremony will take place at 258 Progress Ave., Tiffin on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 11 am.  258 Progress Ave. is located behind The Willows at Tiffin.  The projected move in date is May 2021; watch for the Ribbon Cutting announcement in April.
