Tiffin University: Women's Leadership Conference 2021

Tiffin University: Women's Leadership Conference 2021
February 22, 2021

The 2021 TU Women’s Leadership Conference will take place virtually on Wednesday, March 17 at 7 p.m.  This year’s theme, “Taking Care of the Whole You: How to Live a More Balanced and Meaningful Life,” will focus on strategies for achieving health and wellness.

The conference will explore the seven dimensions of wellness: intellectual, social, physical, spiritual, occupational, emotional and environmental (adapted from Princeton University’s UMatter Initiative).  Participants will self-reflect on the dimensions of wellness, troubleshoot challenges and create an action plan with steps they can take toward healthier habits and better well-being.

Although the conference is virtual, it will mirror the structure of the traditional seated conference.  The agenda includes a keynote presentation by TU’s President, Dr. Lillian Schumacher, and small group breakout sessions for intimate, guided discussions.  The annual Each One, Reach One Award will also be presented.  This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exemplary engagement in facilitating leadership development for women.

The event is limited to the first 200 registrations and is open to students, alumni, faculty, staff and community members.

Register online.
