COVID Vaccine Clinic Partnership Announced by Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Services and Mercy Health
May 10, 2021

The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Services (SRCCVS) and Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital, have established a partnership to offer the COVID vaccine to member organizations of the SRCCVS.  Mercy Health – Tiffin also continues to offer vaccine clinics to the general business community and the public through its hospital-based services.

As part of this new partnership, employees of SRCCVS member organizations are eligible for a “Downtown Tiffin Vaccine Clinic” planned from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, Friday, May 21 at The Chandelier Community Event Center, 151 S. Washington Street, Tiffin.  Pre-registration is required for this clinic.  To register, please use the following link for the Ohio Department of Health COVID Vaccination website:  https://gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov/ and use Access Code QGQIODZGGS.  Please note, in order to ensure optimum use of vaccine supply, a minimum of 10 enrollees must register in order for this clinic to be held.

Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital also continues to offer periodic vaccination clinics to the general public through its Outpatient Services Department.  For information on available clinics, please call 419-455-8501.

The vaccine presently being offered to both the business community and the general public is the Moderna vaccine, which includes a second dose administered four weeks after the initial dose.  Follow-up appointments for the second dose will be scheduled at the time of the first appointment.  Vaccines are administered at no cost to the patient regardless of insurance status.  An administrative fee will though be charged to insurance plans as allowed under current federal rules.

The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Services and Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital are pleased to offer this event to Chamber members and especially appreciate Tom Fretz, owner of The Chandelier Event and Conference Center, for supporting the “Downtown Tiffin Vaccine Clinic”.  Questions on this event may be directed to the SRCCVS at 419-447-4141.  For information on vaccine clinics designed for the general business community, please contact Jana Martin, Director of Occupational Health and Health Management Services, Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital, at 419-455-7751.
