Established in May 2021, Hope’s Landing is a nonprofit social enterprise and partner organization of Sisters and Shelter, also located in Tiffin, Ohio. All of their products are made by local survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence who have graduated from Sisters in Shelter's residential healing program.  Hope's Landing offers a variety of products including candles, sugar scrubs, lotions, body butters, soaps, lip balms, bath salts, and more!  Hope's Landing strives to provide high quality products while also keeping them sustainable and environmentally friendly.

The profits from their sales will fund the survivor's fair wages. Once all payroll and material costs are covered, any remaining amount will be donated back to Sisters in Shelter to fund their mission of serving human trafficking and domestic violence survivors.

Unfortunately, many survivors struggle to find employment because of various issues including mental health, drug charges, lack of job skills, etc. Hope's Landing will provide them with a fair wage, job training, a money management course, and career development workshops.  This program will equip survivors with the resources necessary to provide for themselves and create a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Our hope is that we can help break the cycle of poverty and abuse that runs rampant in so many communities.

Hope's Landing was founded by Leah Cordy, who is a two-time alum for Heidelberg University.  After starting with Sisters in Shelter, Leah recognized that providing jobs and the proper training to get clients back on their feet was something that was missing.  Hope's Landing was launched in March of 2021 and has continued to grow!  Hope's Landing has also brought on Tesla Little as the production manager.

You can purchase Hope's Landing products online or at different locations throughout Ohio.  These Include a pop-up shop at the Sisters in Shelter office in Downtown Tiffin, The Alabaster Jar Collective in Fremont, Light and Lovely Boutique in Findlay, Prims & Proper in Lagrange, One World Shop in Rocky River, and Washington Street Outfitters in Tiffin.
