The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will host a book discussion on Cracked, Not Broken: Surviving and Thriving After A Suicide Attempt by Kevin Hines on Thursday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room as part of the Foundation Speakers series.
In 2000, Kevin Hines attempted to take his life by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. Many factors contributed to his miraculous survival, and Kevin now travels the world sharing his story of hope, healing, and recovery. In the summer of 2013, Kevin released his bestselling memoir titled Cracked, Not Broken: Surviving and Thriving After A Suicide Attempt. Copies of the book are available at the Library. The e-book is offered on the Ohio Digital Library and the Libby app, and the audiobook can be found on hoopla.
Kevin Hines, author of Cracked, Not Broken: Surviving and Thriving After A Suicide Attempt, is this year’s Foundation Speaker. He will visit Tiffin on Thursday, October 10 at 6:30 p.m. at Tiffin University’s Marion Center.
The Foundation Speakers series brings an outstanding writer, artist, or public figure to inform and engage the community once each year and provides the chance to gain insight and inspiration directly from those helping to shape our culture and our world. The series is made possible through generous funding by the Tiffin-Seneca Library Foundation and the many donors who have contributed to the Foundation over the years.
