Mystery Bourbon/Whisky Tasting at the Grammes-Brown House & Garden

The Tiffin Historic Trust is hosting a Sunday- Funday afternoon at its headquarters, the Grammes-Brown House and garden, 172 Jefferson St.  Dave Spridgeon of the Renaissance of Tiffin bourbon bar is presenting a Mystery Bourbon and Whiskey Tasting event.  Spridgeon was a partner in Findlay’s The Bourbon Affair before opening the Roarin’ 20s-themed speakeasy in historic downtown Tiffin. 

 Enjoy a selection of four tastings and light hors d’oeuvres while listening to a selection of historic jazz chosen by Doug Collar from his vast collection of vinyl and other recordings.  For many years Collar hosted and produced jazz programs at WKAR-AM/FM, Michigan State University Public Radio.  He has taught jazz history courses and has given presentations at jazz festivals, museums, and other venues.

 Doors will open at 3:30 and the program will begin at 4:00 p.m.  The event donation of $30 includes the tastings and a whiskey glass the guests can take home with them. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available.  RSVP to Nevin at 419-618-1001 with your guest count.
