The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will present “RUOK? For Teens and Tweens” on Tuesday, October 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room as part of the 2019 Foundation Speakers series.
Join us for a suicide awareness and prevention program that teaches teens and tweens to recognize the signs of suicide and how to take action. Pizza will be served and the first 25 attendees will receive a free t-shirt. Presented by staff from NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) of Seneca, Sandusky & Wyandot counties. No registration required for this free program.
Kevin Hines, author of Cracked, Not Broken: Surviving and Thriving After A Suicide Attempt, is this year’s Foundation Speaker. He will visit Tiffin on Thursday, October 10 at 6:30 p.m. at Tiffin University’s Marion Center.
The Foundation Speakers series brings an outstanding writer, artist, or public figure to inform and engage the community once each year and provides the chance to gain insight and inspiration directly from those helping to shape our culture and our world. The series is made possible through generous funding by the Tiffin-Seneca Library Foundation and the many donors who have contributed to the Foundation over the years.
