The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will present a “Self-Care Fair” on Thursday, October 17 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. as part of the 2019 Foundation Speakers series.
Taking care of yourself is a key component to good mental wellness. Drop in the Library and browse different exhibits including yoga, gardening, knitting and more to find out about many ways you can practice self-care. Staff from Firelands Counseling and Recovery Services will also conduct depression screenings at this event.
Kevin Hines, author of Cracked, Not Broken: Surviving and Thriving After A Suicide Attempt, is this year’s Foundation Speaker. He will visit Tiffin on Thursday, October 10 at 6:30 p.m. at Tiffin University’s Marion Center.
The Foundation Speakers series brings an outstanding writer, artist, or public figure to inform and engage the community once each year and provides the chance to gain insight and inspiration directly from those helping to shape our culture and our world. The series is made possible through generous funding by the Tiffin-Seneca Library Foundation and the many donors who have contributed to the Foundation over the years.
