Fostoria Garden Club - Garden Tour & Flower Show

Flower Show takes place at the Fostoria Learning Center, seven homes with elaborate gardents and the Downtown Parkette.  The Fostoria Garden Club  designed  the parkette.  

The tour costs $7 for advance sales and $10 on the day of the tour.  Tickets are available at the Fostoria Chamber of Commerce, 342 Perry St., Fostoria.    

There is no charge to view solely the Flower Show at the Fostoria Learning Center, 342 Perry St., where club members will showcase their own floral arrangements.  In addition to the seven houses on the tour and the show at the Learning Center, the tour also includes the downtown parkette, which was completed last fall. The parkette’s flowerbeds, which include boxwood, coral bells and perennials, were created by the garden club, as were the stone pots of elephant ears and petunias gracing the area. The parkette’s mosaic was installed this spring by artist Vicki Murphy.

The nonprofit garden club didn’t just create the parkette landscaping — members design, plant and maintain all of the city’s flowerbeds, including those downtown.
