Netcherized, the Architecture of George Netcher

Thursday, August 19, 2021 - 7:00pm

Address:
Barnes-Deinzer Seneca County Museum & Foundation
28 Clay St
Tiffin, OH 44883

Through the use of historical photos and Netcher’s own blueprints, Huss will take us on a fascinating trip into the life and creative world of George Netcher, Tiffin’s prominent early 20th century architect. Huss will also feature Netcher’s clients and reveal his sometimes-problematic relations with clients.  Netcher’s career in Tiffin included the design of such noted buildings as the B.P.O.E. Lodge, K of C Lodge, original Mercy Hospital, Cunningham House-Tiffin City Schools Administration building, Frost-Kalnow House, Kalbfleisch-Schneppat House, Bagby-Watson-Eberly House, Gottlieb-Supance House, Gibson-Kildow House, Loomis-Laird-Troxel House, numerous smaller residences and remodeling projects, and many banks throughout Ohio.

The program will be presented free of charge on August 19, 2021 at 7 pm in the Fort Ball Room of the Seneca County Museum, 28 Clay St., Tiffin, Ohio. Everyone is welcome!
