All Patriots Memorial Gathering in Tiffin

Location: All Patriots Memorial is located at Washington and Water streets, near downtown Tiffin.

Schedule:  8:46 am:  The time the first plane struck the World Trade Center in New York City – community members may join local first-responders and veterans at Tiffin Police and Fire All Patriots Memorial for bagpipe music, speeches, a prayer, a wreath-laying, Taps and a rifle salute.

Memorial Gathering in Fostoria

Location:  Fountain Cemetary

Schedule:  10:00 am:  Star-Spangled Banner performed live.  Speeches, United Veterans of Fostoria Honor Guard Salute and Taps.

Card Making at Tiffin Seneca Farmers Market

Location:  Jefferson Street, Downtown Tiffin

Schedule:  9 am – 1 pm:  Make cards for first-responders, veterans and soldiers.  Some cards will be given to Project Cookies from Home, which ships flat-rate boxes to heroes deployed overseas.

All Patriots Memorial Education & Donation Collection

Location:  All Patriots Memorial is located at Washington and Water streets, near downtown Tiffin, Donations being accepted in parking lot across the street (in front of Ralph's Joy of Living) 

Schedule:  1 pm – 3 pm:  Community members may visit All Patriots Memorial to learn more about the site.

There will be a drive-through donation collection from 1-3 p.m., Sept. 11, in the parking lot across from Tiffin Police and Fire. All Patriots Memorial, Tiffin Kiwanis Club and other volunteers will assist with unloading vehicles.

– FISH: toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, canned and boxed goods
– H.O.P.E. for Lotus Recovery House: toilet paper, paper towels, feminine products, shampoo, conditioner, razors, laundry detergent, dish soap, trash bags
– The Hub after-school program: board games, craft items, video games, snacks, books
– St. Paul's United Methodist Church's sharing kitchen: non-perishable food items, hygiene items, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent
– The Salvation Army: canned/snack packs fruit, noodles, canned chicken and tuna, stuffing mix, instant rice, soup, spaghetti sauce, canned vegetables, pancake mix, syrup, juice, tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, deodorant, lotion, disposable razors, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouth wash, laundry detergent, dish detergent, multi-surface cleaner, Ajax/Comet, antibacterial wipes, Band-Aids, Chapstick, cough drops, Tums, Q-Tips, baby/children: shampoo, body wash, liquid soap and formula, newborn/3/4/5 diapers; juice and toiletries are especially needed.

– Seneca County Opportunity Center's Aktion Club for Pay It Forward: socks, underwear
– Seneca Mentoring Youth Links (SMYL): paper products, soap, body wash and spray, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, dental supplies, feminine products, laundry supplies, hand sanitizer, washcloths, pots, pans, silverware, plastic Tupperware, candles, dish towels and soap, cookbooks, playing cards, games, arts and crafts, books (puzzles, activity, coloring, story), sidewalk chalk, bubbles, jump ropes, gum, healthy snacks, gloves, combs, hats, socks, postage,
cards, envelopes, notebooks, journals, pens, gift cards
– Solitude Ministries: business envelopes, printer paper, stamps, for Max's Miles gift baskets: coloring books, crayons, markers, paints, drawing paper, art supplies, gift cards, candles, lotions

Memorial Gathering in Attica

Location: 13343 W SR 224, Attica.

Schedule:  4:00 pm:  Seneca East's Stars, Stripes and Lights Cross Country meet.  6 pm Ceremony honoring local first responders an a fly-over of a B-17 WW2 bomber.
