Louisa K. Fast - "Tiffin's First Lady" presented by Rodney Young

Thursday, October 28, 2021 - 7:00pm

Address:
Barnes-Deinzer Seneca County Museum & Foundation
28 Clay St
Tiffin, OH 44883

The next program in the Seneca County Museum’s speaker series will be held October 28th.  Rodney Young will present a program based on his newly published research report on Louisa Fast.  To the best of his knowledge, this is the most recent publication on Louisa in the last 40 years and provides some new information on her life.

Mr. Young will share several inaccuracies previously written about Louisa. A portion of his presentation will include an audio recording of an interview with Miss Fast.

Louisa had an interesting life, she was an activist and participated in the Women’s Suffrage movement, travelled the world, served as a librarian, and wrote a book on early Tiffin homes. Mr. Young will share all of her adventures in greater detail.

The free program will be held in the Fort Ball Room at the Museum, 28 Clay Street, beginning at 7:00 p.m.  After the presentation, Mr. Young will be available to sign copies of his research report on Louisa Fast which will be for sale in the Gift Shop.
