The Seneca County Genealogical Society will be meeting on Tuesday November 2, 2021 at 6:30 pm at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library in the Frost-Kalnow Room. In continuing our theme of the upcoming Tiffin Bicentennial, our program speaker will present Tales of Fort Stephenson.  Experience the noise and smoke of battle. Mike Gilbert, R.B. Hayes, Presidential Library & Museums History Roundtable presenter, local historian and retired teacher's presentation promises to deliver interesting and lesser-known stories about those who participated. The soldiers who fought here passed through Seneca County and some came back as early settlers and became the first to reside in Tiffin when it was formed in 1822.  The public is invited to attend this free meeting.
