Covid-19 Resources

As we all deal with the ramifications of the COVID-19 closures, please be patient with us as we maintain the social distancing protocols laid down by the state.  Please contact us through our email at info@tiffinchamber.com or call 419-447-4141.

We know our local businesses are working hard to get through this shutdown. That's why we're here for you, working to bring you the latest information on how we all can get through this shutdown together.

Below are some resources we have compiled to help inform and educate about programs, loans, or webinars that could provide useful help to you during this time. We will be constantly updating this information as we receive it.

In addition, we will be making calls to our members and offering our assistance. If you have yet to receive a call and have questions or comments, please reach out.

This is the time to let us know what you need. We have always been here to help, all Seneca County businesses, and this shutdown is no different.

We want to thank our community members and businesses that are stepping up to help! Whether it is sewing masks, buying supplies to donate, donating money or treating the hospital or similar organization to donuts or lunch; it is wonderful thing that you are doing! Thank you!

What does Coronavirus look like?

Patients with COVID-19 have had mild to severe respiratory illness with symptoms of fever, cough, and shortness of breath.

What are severe complications from this virus?
Some patients have pneumonia in both lungs, multi-organ failure and in some cases death.

How can I help protect myself?
People can help protect themselves from respiratory illness with everyday preventive actions:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.

PPE Resources

In an effort to provide safe, personal protective equipment for everyone in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic, local residents and organizations have partnered with the #InThisTogetherOhio initiative to distribute face masks to Seneca County residents at no cost. Masks come in adult sizes and are free to individuals (one per person). Supplies are limited. This is in addition to the great work that has been done through the Facebook group, “Helping Hands in Seneca County“. We are all working together to protect our community. Thank you to everyone for your efforts!
