This year the Around the Town will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2020. It will coincide with the Seneca County Farmers Market. It will begin at 9 am and end at 1 pm. Participants will need to be set up by 9 am. and remain set up until 1 pm. The Around the Town will be set up next to the Farmers Market. Due to this change participants will be permitted to sell at this year’s event. Keep in mind that you still may want to give things to the students.
The purpose of the Around the Town has not changed. The Around the Town event allows incoming students from Heidelberg University and Tiffin University to become familiar with the resources that Tiffin has to offer! Restaurants, retailers and financial institutions are encouraged to participate. Non-profits are encouraged to attend; this is an opportunity to let the students know that you need volunteers. Political groups are not allowed at this event. The registration form and a link are available on The Chamber’s website. The registration deadline is July 29th. The public will arrive at 9 am. The University students will arrive at 11 am. Seniors from our local high schools will be invited to arrive at 12:30 pm.* Remember all students need service hours this is an opportunity to let them know about your organization.
