Sunday, October 3, 2021, is the date for the 8th annual “Tee-Off” Alzheimer’s Golf Scramble, sponsored by The Shawhan, Assisted Living by Elmwood. This year’s event will be held at Clinton Heights Golf Course with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.
The $275 team fee includes cart and green fees, catered awards luncheon, snacks, swag bag, and door prizes. A skins game, mulligans, several new contests and the addition of more cash prizes than ever will add to the fun and competition. Pre-registration is encouraged.
The Shawhan has raised nearly $70,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association and the annual golf scrambles have added much to this impressive amount. According to Maria Paradiso Browne, “We, at The Shawhan, work all year to raise money to support the Alzheimer’s Association to find a cure. The golf scramble is a fun way to support the cause.”
“Tee-Off” Alzheimer’s is one of the final outings of the season. Committee members Char Pope, Dave Porter, Heather Compston and Paradiso-Browne encourage all golfers, young and old, to register and join the fun. Interested golfers may register by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 419-310-5162.« Back to Blog
