Tiffin Academy of Hair Design is Tiffin's very own educational institution specializing in Cosmetology and Advanced Manicuring.  The overall mission of Tiffin Academy of Hair Design is to provide an equal opportunity to anyone desiring a career in Cosmetology or Advanced Manicuring, by giving each student the very best training possible, teaching them the specific skills and related subjects necessary for them to succeed in the cosmetology or nail industry today, and tomorrow.  Tiffin Academy of Hair Design is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences, Inc. (N.A.C.C.A.S.), which is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a national accrediting agency for post-secondary schools and programs of career arts and sciences. The Certificate of Accreditation is on display in the main office on the second floor of the Academy.

Therese Vogel is the owner of Tiffin Academy of Hair Design since 2001 and has worked there for over 36 years.  Therese knows all about pursuing dreams. As a little girl, she gave her dolls haircuts—not to be naughty, but to try out the latest styles and practice for her future job! With nearly 40 years in the beauty industry, she loves watching other people blossom as they discover their creative talents and shape their lives around their passions.

Tiffin Academy of Hair Design also offers a wide variety of guest services for the community.  You can get salon services (both by appointment and walk in) for half the average price of those at area salons! Senior students who have completed training and passed tests involving your styling needs have the opportunity to practice their professional and communication skills. You benefit from affordable prices and the services of an enthusiastic stylist motivated to succeed. The Academy offsets a portion of its tuition and business expenses from income generated by the local community. It’s a win-win-win!
