North Central Electric Dedicates EV Charging Station

Congratulations to North Central Electric Cooperative for cutting the ribbon on their brand new EV Charging Station located at Seneca East!

The station was installed thanks to a grant from North Central Electric via their state organization, Ohio's Electric Cooperatives. The EV charger is to improve the infrastructure associated with the increased interest in EV vehicles. It is the second in the region with an identical charger located at North Central Electric Cooperative’s headquarters in Attica.

The North Central Electric ChargePoint Charger is a level two electric vehicle charger with a 6.6 kW capability and J1772 chargers (the J1772 is the basic charge plug on a majority of vehicles except for the Tesla). It can charge two vehicles at once as well.
