Happy Feature Friday, where every Friday the Chamber team will highlight one of our fantastic members by repping them for the day and telling the community more about them. This week's Feature Friday is: Pan Yan Bookstore!

 Pan Yan Bookstore is a small, independently owned bookstore in the heart of downtown Tiffin at 144 South Washington Street in the historic Empire block. Pan Yan Bookstore, named after the first established business in Tiffin, Pan Yan Tavern, pays tribute the the community's roots while providing a much needed shop and experience to the county and surrounding areas. They also do special orders! 

When you walk through the doors you’ll find a wide selection of new books, used books, free wi-fi, hot and cold drinks, locally made cookies, and so much more. DORA beverages, outside food, and delivery are welcome as inside Pan Yan is more than a bookstore, but a community all its own. Books of all genres, gifts perfect for any reader, merchandise that nods and honors the community to all who enter, and a staff who can’t wait to help you find just what you are looking for is waiting for you. Check out and get involved in one of their many book clubs that are offered, their author visits, their children’s Sunday Story time with local celebrity guests, or one of the special events they host throughout the year to welcome folks in and support the spirit of our town.

Pan Yan Bookstore got its start in 2021 by Judy Smith. Judy alongside her enthusiastic and knowledgeable team of employees are there to make all your bookstore dreams come true. While across the country brick and mortar bookstores seem to be on the decline, Pan Yan is seeing the exact opposite trend. They are bursting with energy and success and have become a staple for many people.

Today, September 8, 2023, marks their ONE YEAR anniversary of being in business! In addition to amazing deals on both used and new books, they also have specialty candles and fun surprises planned, so make sure to stop in to help celebrate!
