Chamber and Destination Seneca County Recognizes Community Leaders at 2023 Annual Meeting

The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and Destination Seneca County gathered for their 2023 Annual Meeting with more than 200 guests at Tiffin University’s Marion Center to celebrate the previous year of accomplishments and to recognize several community leaders.

The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce recognized Mikki King, Director of Annual Giving, and longtime Chamber Ambassador, with the Ambassador of the Year Award. The award honors an individual that assists the Chamber in fulfilling their mission of supporting small businesses and the community

Anne Lange DeVine, Partner at Lange Gordon Rannigan & Claus LLC, was recognized with the Women’s Career Excellence Award. The Women’s Career Excellence Award recognizes the potential of all women as valued members and leaders of the community and recognizes those who support them. The Women’s Career Excellence Award honors individuals who strive toward the highest levels of professional accomplishment, who excel in their chosen field, have devoted time and energy to their community in a meaningful way, and who also open paths so that others may follow.

Andrew and Leslie Felter were honored with the Outstanding Citizenship Award. The Outstanding Citizenship Award honors an individual (or individuals) who have proven to be outstanding among peers in the areas of professional competence, civic contribution, and personal qualities.

Paul and Nancy Coffman, longtime volunteers with the Tiffin Glass Museum & Shoppe, were honored with the newly established Carol Yager Excellence in Tourism Award. The award honors an individual (or individuals), groups, projects, and programs that support, empower, and believe in tourism throughout Seneca County. This award's namesake, Carol Yager, was a trailblazer and a true pioneer for the spirit of tourism in Seneca County. As a small business owner, a leader of tourism and group travel in the county, as a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Carol set the tone for what doing good in the community looks like through her servant leadership for more than 40 years.
