Easter Bunny Coming to Tiffin

Saturday, April 11, 2020 - 2:00pm

Families should get ready for some safe fun when a special guest makes an early visit to town with Tiffin’s Easter Bunny Hop. The event is for families to see the holiday character while maintaining social distancing.

From 2-5 p.m. Saturday, April 11, the Easter Bunny will be making his way through Tiffin on a firetruck, escorted by a Tiffin Police Department cruiser driven by Police Chief Fred Stevens and Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz! Wave at the Easter Bunny as he makes his way through your neighborhood.

The route is to begin at the Tiffin Moose, 1146 N. SR 53, and the route map is to be announced Friday evening by Montz on his social media channels on Facebook and Twitter. Police/Fire sirens will notify the public of when the Easter Bunny is in their neighborhood. The caravan will not be able to travel down all streets, but should be within a block and a half of most houses in Tiffin.

The Easter Bunny will not be making any stops. Please practice social distancing and parents should accompany their children. The public is also advised to stay off the streets as there will be no change in traffic flow patterns.

Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz commented: “I’m so excited to be able to offer this fun event for the people of the City of Tiffin, and thank everyone who helped put this together and especially the Easter Bunny for making time to visit the children of Tiffin!”
