CASA of Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties presents its twelfth annual “Sandusky County Stars Dancing for CASA” fundraiser, which will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, at The SAC at Terra State Community College on 2830 Napoleon Road, Building C in Fremont.

The Sandusky County dance contenders are Alicia Mulligan: START Caseworker and Investigation Caseworker at Sandusky County Children Services, RJ Willey: Sales Manager at Al Baumann Chevrolet-Buick, Inc. in Fremont, Acacia Hull: Director of Campus Safety & Security at Terra State Community College and Reserve Deputy and Treasurer for the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, and Shayla Brown: Office Manager/Coordinator at Halvo Kulinary Orchard on Catawba Island! They are being instructed by dance instructors from the talented Ballroom Company.

Patterned after the popular television show, this unique fundraiser puts the ‘fun’ in fundraising. Local celebrities are being teamed up with professional or experienced dancers. Each couple will present their dance routine at the event. Guests will then be given the opportunity to vote for the celebrity dancer of their choice. Each dollar donation counts for one vote. The dancer receiving the most votes will be declared the winner of the People’s Choice Award.

All proceeds will be used to support the local CASA program which provides trained volunteers to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children in our community.

Tickets are $35 each, but with this lineup, they will go fast! Call 419-355-1442 or visit the CASA office in Fremont, 219 South Front Street, Suite 304, to reserve your tickets and tables by March 22, 2024. Credit cards are accepted. Dinner will be served and a cash bar will be available.
