Lean Systems Transformation and Leadership is now being offered through TU Connects, a Tiffin University initiative that focuses on all aspects of workforce readiness from a "local to global" perspective.  Through Lean Systems, you can learn how to develop and sustain a continuous improvement system that streamlines your entire organization, instead of implementing only a few production-line tools.  You are able to discover how to motivate your employees to embrace change, as well as create accountability, empowerment, and responsibility throughout your organization.  Lean Systems will leave you with the knowledge of how to integrate technology, social systems, a strong culture, and the meeting of customer lead times and needs by controlling flow and cutting costs by adjusting limiting inventory. 

Lean Systems currently offers six programs which include, Foundation of Lean Manufacturing, Shop Floor Control, Time Base Management and Continuous Flow, Value-Stream Mapping, Leadership, and Six Sigma. Expert instruction of these programs is offered by Dennis L. Doren and Ron Ott.  Doren is the founder and president of Lean Systems and has developed an implementation system with a specialty in social skills, technical tools, and leadership for higher education and industry, where he spent 30 years.  Ott has been a partner with Lean Systems since 2006 and has trained multiple organizations (manufacturing and non-manufacturing) in systems thinking and best practices.  While education is the primary objective, Ott''s value stream mapping and Six Sigma training has yielded over $50M in actualized savings.
