Group Health, Life, and Disability Insurance

Group Health Insurance – Chamber Saver Program

Full range of health insurance plans with cost savings. Businesses also get access to a large network of quality providers through Anthem, an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. Premium savings of up to 1.4% on groups from 2-50 employees.  Groups from 51-500 may be eligible for a 1% premium savings. Business must be a member of a NOACC Chamber. 

Group Health Insurance – SOCA Benefit Plan (MEWA) 

The SOCA Benefit Plan MEWA, administered by Anthem, is a smart solution for groups with 50 or fewer employees and sole proprietors. It allows smaller employers to join together to share in the overall claims risk, backed by Anthem stop loss coverage.  Business must be a member of a NOACC Chamber.  Click here for information on the SOCA Benefit Plan for small employers.

 

Sole proprietors can join the SOCA Benefit Plan

Anthem, NOACC and SOCA are very pleased to announce that the SOCA Benefit Plan MEWA is making room for sole proprietors.  This is limited to sole proprietors. Presently this offer is not intended for non-profit organizations with one employee.

An eligible sole proprietor must:

  • Meet underwriting requirements.
  • Work more than 30 hours per week (documentation required).
  • Submit a cover page for Form 1040 with Schedule C or Form 1040 with Schedules F and SE.

Our program, administered by Sedgwick, offers you quality service and stability through the complex workers’ compensation environment.

For over 50 years, Sedgwick has been helping employers navigate Ohio’s workers’ compensation system, providing services to help them control claim-related costs and reduce premiums.
